InFlight Café: Level Up Your Dining Experience While Onboard
MANDAUE CITY, CEBU. Not all newbies get their spotlight. As everything changes, we can’t deny that our norms and preferences are slowly shifting, too. We tend to easily get attracted with the state-of-the-art stuff—gadgets, appliances, food (my favorite), and of course, food shops (my second favorite thing).
While it isn’t a piece of cake to beat established fast food restaurants, business owners try their luck through innovating their businesses’ look and feel.
After a few photos caused a widespread buzz in social media, an aircraft-themed café becomes the newest interest of the netizens, dozens of food bloggers, and a huge number of diners.
InFlight Café is a newly opened restaurant that offers American cuisine and a one of a kind dining experience through its airplane-like architecture and designs. It assures you of the best flight that you’ll experience without worrying of any turbulence, jet lag and not even air pressure. The only thing that you’ll need to mind is how to stop yourself from craving for more servings of their bestselling and tasty Fly Boy’s Buffalo Wings and some of their sweet pilot desserts (which easily get sold out).

The only flight I had without my seatbelt being fastened. Not only that. No turbulence, no jet lag, nor air pressure.
Isn’t it amazing? Yeah, I know! But the next question is, how to get there?
To visit InFlight Café, you’ll need to drive along the Lopez Jaena National Highway of Barangay Subangdako in Mandaue City. It’s right across from the AGD IT Center building, and next to New Millenium Hardware. For the exact location, feel free to check out the map I’ve added below. Let’s thank Google Maps for that!
If you’re planning to go there via carpool or private car system (Grab or Uber, for example), just enter “New Millenium Hardware” as your drop off point.
If you prefer public commuting, from Ayala Center Cebu, take a jeepney ride that has a 20A (or 20B) code. You can also find any jeepney (except 03B) at Andok’s Chicken-Mabolo Branch.
InFlight Café is owned by the same business owners running an airline school in Cebu.

You can also visit their Facebook page for their contact and other details.
• Just like any other food stores and restaurants, weekends are their peak. It’s always a good idea to visit the café during weekdays.
• I also recommend contacting them first, and reserving your visit ahead of time. Mind you, a 35 to 40 pax seating capacity gets easily fully booked.
PS: I rarely do recommendations in terms of food choices as I believe that everyone has different preferences. But their serving of Fly Boy’s Buffalo Wings is really a must try!
Til our next bites and cheers,
