LAPU-LAPU CITY, CEBU. Food trips become more exciting when you know that you won’t end up getting broke after feeding your hungry tummy. Don’t we share the same feeling?
Spend less. Eat a lot. Who doesn’t like it that way?
As the historic resort city, Lapu-Lapu City, continuously attracts tourists, a number of small businesses grow along its national highways and streets. The city is currently one of the top destinations in the Philippines.
Though there’s a lot of food stores like Japanese, Korean and fast food restaurants in the city, a newly opened food shop recently became the talk of the town.
It offers almost all of their home-made food and drinks at only forty-nine pesos (Php49, that’s less than a dollar, bruh!). Yes, it only costs a few pesos for you to be able to enjoy a yummy and meaty hamburger. Then, you can pair it with any of their hot or iced chocolate drinks which is still at Php49. Way to cool, right?
Oops, I almost forgot! They’re currently running a promo of 5+1. You’ll get a free drink, either an iced vanilla or iced chocolate, when you order at least 5 of any of your choices.
Stephen’s Place is a family restaurant which operates from 5pm to 12mn along the the road of Sitio Masiwa, Marigondon, Lapu-Lapu City. It’s beside Chef’s Bistro, and in front of Tero Store. For the exact location, feel free to check it out below. Thanks, Google Maps!
At the second level of the food shop, diners would really get the feel of being at home while overlooking the streetview or the building’s backyard, plus a perfect choice of music that would add up your chillin’ mood.
Since it’s still new to its own game, its menu isn’t that long, but they’re planning to get a wider choices of treats in mid-June. Like any other cafes, Stephen’s Place offer a variety of tummy treats from tasty sandwiches to creamy and saucy pastas, from delightful rice cakes to some other sweet tooth, from a glass of vanilla cold drink to a cup of hot Choco.
They also have Korean noodles, rice meals and a few selections of sodas.
Want to try the less expensive treats at Stephen’s Place? Go to Lapu-Lapu City, and proceed to Sitio Masiwa of Barangay Marigondon. You have two different routes to choose from. You can take the Basak-to-Marigondon or the Pusok-to-Marigondon route. Traffic-wise, the second route is way more convenient over the first one.
There’s a great chance that you might get lost though you’re in the right Sitio. But worry no more! You can ask any of the locals in Sitio Masiwa and just say the magic words: “The all Php49-shop” (of course, in Bisaya, for a faster conversation), or simply ask where’s Stephen’s Place located at.
As we’re in the age of social media, Stephen’s Place also offers a good Wi-Fi connection so you can enjoy surfing the net, and easily share your chill experience with Stephen’s crews and great food specialties.
